Incorporating music your ancestor listened to helps with the bond felt during veneration. Their music choice deeply personal gesture that not only honors them but also brings forward their energy in a tangible way.

Story time lol:

When I set up an altar for my dad. The next day, I visited a restaurant I always order from , I heard "My Block" by Scarface playing out loud in the parking lot. Scarface was my dad’s favorite rapper, and the same song I used in the slideshow tribute of my dad we played during his funeral. That moment was an undeniable confirmation of my dad’s presence and the connection was made . Music truly serves as a powerful bridge between the other side and our 3D.

So moving forward, write a poem about them, write a song about them, sample their favorite musician in an instrumental, etc. Dont let your creativity stop at your spiritual practice !
